Follow this guide to easily install and activate your Microsoft Office 2024 Professional Plus on your PC.
1. Remove older versions of Office
Before starting the installation, you need to uninstall any previous versions of Office. This reduces the risk of errors during installation.
2. Download Office 2024 Professional Plus

Click the Download button below.

If your browser asks where to save the file, choose Save.

The file will be saved in your Downloads folder.
If your third-party antivirus is blocking the installation, this is normal behavior when downloading .exe files directly from a link. In that case, you can choose one of these two options:

Click here to try another installation method that doesn’t get blocked by antivirus.
You will choose your preferred language during the installation on your computer.
Where is my Downloads folder?
Open File Explorer (yellow folder icon), click Downloads in the left-hand menu.
You can also press Windows key + E and then click Downloads.
3. Start the Installation

Open your Downloads folder.

Double-click the file MS_Office_ProPlus2024_Installer.

If Windows asks for permission, click Yes.

If Microsoft Defender SmartScreen appears, click “More information”, then select “Run anyway” to continue. This is normal for .exe files downloaded from the internet.

Choose your language.

Select 32-bit or 64-bit installation (if unsure, see help here).

Stay connected to the internet and wait until it finishes (this may take some time)

4. Activate Office 2024 Professional Plus

When the installation is complete, open Word.

An activation window will appear. Enter your product key and click Activate.

If you don’t see the activation window click the Account tab in the bottom-left corner in Word and select Change product key.
If you don’t see the option to enter a product key:

Click “Choose another account”.
-
Then select “Enter a product key instead”.
Troubleshooting

If you run into problems during installation, check our Troubleshooting list before contacting support.

Make sure your internet connection is stable and no old Office versions remain installed.

Check if a third-party antivirus is blocking the installation and disable it temporarily if needed.

If activation fails, check that you’ve entered the product key correctly and try again.
